"BELIEVE IN YOURSELF"

At San Joaquin County Soccer Academy, we challenge and empower young student-athletes to be the best soccer players they can.

Our soccer development programs and clinics are designed for student-athletes between the ages of 6 and 14.

For U8 groups, we start with the fundamentals of the game, which include core skills focused on footwork--dribbling, passing, and shooting.

For U10 groups, we build on U8-fundamentals with attention to movement, spacing, and positioning.

For U12 groups, we emphasize form, mechanics, and timing while continuing to work on our U8-and-U10-fundamentals.

For U14 groups, we mimic dynamic pitch conditions to build confidence, enhance decision making, and strengthen game-time mindset.

Below you’ll find information about our soccer development program and clinics, our vision, and our founders' message.

OUR VISION

ABOUT SJCSA

SJCSA was founded on one simple principle:  to challenge and empower young student-athletes to be the best soccer players they can.

Our passionate approach to teaching and motivating young student-athletes makes SJCSA one of the best soccer development program options in San Joaquin County.

SKILLS ASSESSMENT AND TESTING

DEFINING YOUR BASELINE

Our clinics implement a thorough assessment to evaluate the skills and abilities of each student-athlete.

Our assessment goes beyond a traditional soccer matrix as it includes exercises designed to evaluate speed, strength, and core fitness.

Our assessment is designed to establish a baseline.

ASSESSMENT REPORT CARD

A WRITTEN EVALUATION

Each student-athlete receives an Assessment Report Card that evaluates and ranks their performance during our clinic.

The Assessment Report Card allows our student-athletes to better understand their skills, strengths, and areas for improvement.

The Assessment Report Card is a valuable tool to track development and progress over time.

FOCUSED TRAINING EXERCISES

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS

Our coaches review the Assessment Report Card with our student-athletes to help them better understand how they performed compared to their peers.

Our clinic provides an opportunity for direct 1-on-1 coaching feedback with a family member present.

Each student-athlete receives a soccer development plan with specific training exercises to improve strength, speed, and skill.

FOUNDERS' MESSAGE

HOMETOWN ROOTS

Our families each moved to Tracy in the mid-1990s.  Almost 30 years later, we are raising our children in Tracy with great passion and excitement for soccer.

We received strong encouragement from our student-athlete families to share our love for empowering our youth to believe in themselves and become their best.

We have parks to play soccer, but it rains in the winter and gets too hot in the summer.  Contact us to learn more about our commitment to bring indoor soccer to Tracy.
